St. Margarets is grateful to all who
volunteer their service and participate in the Mass as
Lector or Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion
(EMHC). These ministries were established as part of the
reforms of the Second Vatican Council. They make it
possible for laypersons to participate in the Mass in an
important way and witness to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
St. Margarets is always in need of
people to come forward and volunteer for these
ministries. Any faithful Catholic who has received the
Sacrament of Confirmation may become a Lector or EMHC.
