RELIGIOUS EDUCATION CLASSES WILL RESUME ON SUNDAY, OCTOBER 5.

CLASS SCHEDULES for 2008-09 are as follows:

GRADES 2 and 3 have class on October 5, 19, 26; November 2, 9, 16, 23; December 14, 21; January 11, 25; February 1, 8, 22; March 8, 15, 22, 29; April 5, 26.

GRADES 4 and 5 have class on October 5, 19, 26; November 2, 9, 16, 23; December 14, 21; January 11, 25; February 1, 8, 22; March 8, 15, 22, 29 and April 5.

GRADE 8 has class on October 6, 20, 27; November 3, 10, 17, 24; December 1, 15, 22; January 5, 12, 26; February 2, 9, 23; March 9, 16, 23, 30 and April 6.

CLASS CANCELLATIONS: Class cancellations will be posted on www.schoolnotes.com and at the top of this page. Class cancellations will also be broadcast on radio stations WRKO or WBZ and on television channels 4 or 7. To receive automatic class cancellation notification from Channel 7 on your cell phone, just go to www.whdh.com and click on "Closing Bell on Your Cell."

GRADE 2 PARENTS -- Please check out www.schoolnotes.com for Grade 2 information. Sign up to receive an automatic notification when this site is updated.

GRADES 1 AND 2 PARENT MEETING: Any parents who missed the Parent Meetings (for Grades 1 and 2) on September 8th and 9th should make an appointment to meet with Father Robinson at your earliest convenience.

REGISTRATION: All registration forms and fees are now due. If you have not registered your child, please download a copy of the registration form from the parish website. Completed forms may be dropped off at or mailed to the rectory.

The registration fee is $50 per child for grades 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8.

For grades 2, 9,and 10, the registration fee is $75 per child.

Checks should be made payable to "St. Margaret's." Family maximum is $175.
All registration fees are due by September 7th.

TEACHERS: Full time religious education teachers who teach a class at the school building are exempt from all tuition for children in grades one through twelve. As always, we are desperately in need of teachers at every grade level. Students will have to be home schooled if we do not find enough teachers. Please consider teaching a class and contact Mary Murgo at stmargccd@hotmail.com if you would like to volunteer.

CLASS SCHEDULES:

FOR GRADES 2-9, ALL RELIGIOUS EDUCATION CLASSES TAKE PLACE IN THE SCHOOL.

GRADE 1: Neighborhood schools -- schedules vary according to teacher.
GRADE 2: Sunday 10:00 Children's Mass followed by class from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m.
GRADE 3: Sunday 10:00 Children's Mass followed by class from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m.
GRADE 4: Class on Sunday from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. followed by 10:00 Children's Mass.
GRADE 5: Class on Sunday from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. followed by 10:00 Children's Mass.
GRADE 6: Class on Thursday evening from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
GRADE 7: Class on Thursday evening from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
GRADE 8: Class on Monday evening from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
GRADE 9: Class on Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.

GRADE SPECIFIC INFORMATION:

GRADE 1 -- Students are taught in neighborhood schools. Schedules vary according to teacher/parent schedule. Teacher information will be published in the bulletin. All grade one students and their families are invited to attend an Acceptance Ceremony and celebration at the end of the school year. GRADE 2 -- Students meet in the lower church for the 10:00 Children's Mass and sit with their class. Teachers lead students up to the school building immediately after Mass. Dismissal is at 11:45 a.m. (PARENTS -- PLEASE BE PROMPT!) Students exit the building from the doors which face the Memorial School parking lot.

GRADE 3 -- Students meet in the lower church for the 10:00 Children's Mass and sit with their class. Teachers lead students up to the school building immediately after Mass. Dismissal is at 11:45 a.m. (PARENTS -- PLEASE BE PROMPT!) Students exit the building from the doors which face the Memorial School parking lot.

GRADE 4 -- Class begins at 8:45 a.m. in the school. After class, teachers bring students to the 10:00 Children's Mass. Students are dismissed from the lower church immediately after Mass.

GRADE 5 -- Class begins at 8:45 a.m. in the school. After class, teachers bring students to the 10:00 Children's Mass. Students are dismissed from the lower church immediately after Mass.

GRADE 6 -- Classes meet on Thursday evenings from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Parents should drive up to the school building via the Memorial School driveway and then drive down the hill in front of the school building for both drop off and dismissal. NO CARS SHOULD DRIVE UP THE SCHOOL DRIVEWAY. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
